WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Yellowstone whitewater rafting trip is a fun, wide, high-volume river that features rolling wave rapids. Rapids vary in size depending on water levels. Families love it! The Yellowstone white water rafting trip is great for children ages 8 and up. Spectacular views may include spotting wildlife such as river otters and bald eagles.

The Yellowstone River office is located in Gardiner at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National park, just minutes from Mammoth Hot Springs. We are located on Main Street (Scott Street) on a riverfront property within walking distance from lodging and campgrounds in central Gardiner. You can even see some of the rapids from our backyard!

We can pick up at any accommodations or addresses in West Yellowstone, Big Sky, Old Faithful area, Old Faithful Inn, Gardiner, or Bozeman. if you're staying in island Park we request that you meet us in West Yellowstone at a convenient meeting spot with safe/ free parking for the entire day.

We have 6am or 7am listed as a suggested pick up time but we can pick up your group at any time that you want. For those that want to maximize your wildlife viewing experience and want to get ahead of the crowds we can start your tour as early as 5am depending on the time of year and your starting location. Just let us know what works best for your family or group.

We do not provide breakfast. Please plan ahead by making coffee in your hotel room/ lobby and pick up some fruit, yogurt, donuts, snacks, etc the night before your tour from a grocery store to eat for breakfast. You are welcome to eat our assortment of healthy snacks for breakfast to keep you full before lunch. We are now providing Starbucks instant coffee if would like coffee on your tour.

4: Grand Prismatic Spring

Grand Prismatic Spring is located in the Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The third largest hot spring in the world is most well known for the rainbow effect that the microbial mats create, producing reds, oranges, yellows and greens around the edges of the spring. The blue center is the result of sterile water at great depth appearing blue to the eye. Our safari makes a stop here. Fountain Paint Pot, located in the Lower Geyser Basin, is a mud pot most recognized for the reds, yellows and browns that can be seen in the soil. ncorrectly named as the vantage point for Thomas Moran's famous waterfall sketches, the name Artist Point remains to this day. 7: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

At a depth of more than 1000ft (305m), the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is an impressive sight. Water, wind, earthquakes and hydrothermal features have all worked together to form this area. Two waterfalls are visible from multiple vantage points, Upper Falls and Lower Falls. Our safari makes a stop here. 8: Yellowstone River

The Yellowstone River originates in the Absaroka Range at the Continental Divide and flows north through Yellowstone National Park and Paradise Valley before heading east across the plains of Montana and eventually flowing into the Missouri River. It is a large-volume river, fed by several tributaries on its journey eastward. The river provides habitat for many species in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and is known for its excellent trout population. Our safari makes a stop here in search of wildlife. Not included on the lower loop tour - For our wildlife tour, we spend the better part of the tour scanning the Serengeti of Yellowstone for grizzly and black bear, wolves, coyotes, eagles, badgers, bison, elk, pronghorn, moose, and many other animals. We provide spotting scopes and binoculars to assist with viewing and our trained adventure guide will be your personal guide as we identity the flora and fauna of Yellowstone.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Yellowstone whitewater rafting trip is a fun, wide, high-volume river that features rolling wave rapids. Rapids vary in size depending on water levels. Families love it! The Yellowstone white water rafting trip is great for children ages 6 and up. Spectacular views may include spotting wildlife such as river otters and bald eagles.

The Yellowstone River office is located in Gardiner at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National park, just minutes from Mammoth Hot Springs. 4: Mammoth Hot Springs

Mammoth Hot Springs is a collection of thermal features at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for the travertine terraces that form from mineral deposits, but there are many other observable geothermal features in this area. The algae living in the pools creates the distinct brownish, reddish colors. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area.

7: Albright Visitor Center and Museum

The Albright Visitor Center, located in the northern region of Yellowstone, is housed in a historic structure that originally served as quarters for cavalry troops charged with protection of the park prior to the creation of the National Park Service. 8: Roosevelt Arch

The Roosevelt Arch, built in 1903, is constructed of hexagonal blocks of columnar basalt and stands 52ft (16m) high. The arch stands at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, MT. The original conception was to provide a grand entrance to the world's first National Park but subsequent features were never installed and the official park entrance was relocated south of Gardiner. The arch itself remains standing and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our safari makes a stop here. 9: Yellowstone River

The Yellowstone River originates in the Absaroka Range at the Continental Divide and flows north through Yellowstone National Park and Paradise Valley before heading east across the plains of Montana and eventually flowing into the Missouri River. It is a large-volume river, fed by several tributaries on its journey eastward. The river provides habitat for many species in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and is known for its excellent trout population. Our safari makes a stop here in search of wildlife. This remote & scenic property bordering Yellowstone Park offers gorgeous views, a babbling mountain stream & wildlife viewing. The Zipline EcoTour takes you on 4 zips and 2 adventure elements, while you gaze at the gorgeous pristine vistas, listen to the gurgling stream, and watch for wildlife on this unique Montana Adventure. Max weight per participant is 260 lbs. Each participant is weighed prior to the tour to make sure they meet that requirement.
