Our biblical creation tours of the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim include multiple stops to the very best overlooks with tons of insightful teaching throughout the day. The order below is a "typical" route, focusing on the park's east side along Desert View Drive.

Due to changing weather, seasons, or the people flow in the park that day, we may have alternate stops other than what we provide below. Our tours are not "scripted", so guides have the freedom and flexibility to respond to changes in the park as well as your own individual group dynamic.

Our tour does not include entry fee into the Grand Canyon National Park, which you may pay at the gate or use a National Park Pass. Entry is good for 7 days of unlimited use.

5: Lipan Point

While taking in fantastic river views, including one of the canyon's largest rapids, we will talk about the Native American Ancestral Puebloans who lived far below on the Unkar Delta.

At Lipan Point, we will also showcase the geological Great Unconformity, Cambrian Explosion, and the Tapeats Sandstoneall of which provide fantastic observable evidence for a global Flood.

Learn about the mechanisms of the Flood from its onset, and how we believe the sedimentary rock layers were deposited through this year-long destructive event of biblical proportions!

6: Navajo Point

A lot of water, in a little bit of time. Learn about the carving of the Grand Canyon by what we call the "lake spillover" or "breached dam" model, something first proposed in geology all the way back in the 1800s and still held by both creation and some secular geologists alike today.

See beyond the Grand Canyon to the distant Vermilion and Echo Cliffs of the Marble Platform and southeast to parts of the Painted Desert. Learn about the nearby historic Desert View Watchtower, completed in 1932.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This Grand Canyon Pink Jeep tour begins with pickup from a central location in the town of Tusayan, Arizona, then travel to Grand Canyon National Parks South Rim.

Explore the South Rim, traveling along the Rim Trail, a 13-mile (21-kilometer) road between the South Kaibab Trailhead west to Hermit's Rest. Admire the dramatic rock formations, canyons, and cliffs while learning about the areas history and geology.

Take pictures at scenic stops like Bright Angel Trail, Yavapai Point, Mather Point and finally, Grandview Point at an elevation of about 7,400 feet (2,555 meters), it's the highest point of the Grand Canyons South Rim.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This 40-minute flight begins at Grand Canyon National Park Airport with a pilot meet and greet. Buckle up in the fixed-wing Vistaliner plane, featuring panoramic windows for the ultimate sightseeing adventure. Take off for the southern part of the Grand Canyon and see Horseshoe Bend, located just seven miles from the beginning of Grand Canyon National Park. Check out the incredible view down into the Little Colorado River.

Pickup details

Buck Wild Hummer Tours is located in the town of Tusayan, 1 mile from the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. We are NOT located inside the National Park, so if you are meeting us at our terminal, we are in the town of Tusayan, just before you enter the National Park.

We do NOT pick up in Las Vegas, Flagstaff, Sedona or any other locations besides the hotels listed, located in the town of Tusayan or inside the National Park South Rim.

Tusayan Hotel Pickup time is approximately 5-15 minutes prior to tour start time.

In Park Pickup time varies, and could be approximately 10 minutes BEFORE Tour Start Time, to 15-20 minutes AFTER Tour Start Time. This is because, depending on scheduled pickups, we first load people checking in at Terminal, then do Tusayan Pickups, then head into the park for pickups and the tour.

If you are getting picked up IN the park, your tour duration will be less than the advertised tour duration because you are not traveling into the park with us before the tour, or traveling back to Buck Wild after the tour. You will NOT miss any viewpoint stops if you are getting picked up inside the park.

IMPORTANT: You MUST reconfirm your tour at least 24 hours prior to tour date so that we can give you up to date information about pick up or check in time. We will also update via phone/text/What's App if there are changes before the tour begins.

NOTE: During busy seasons, we do NOT offer pickup inside the park for certain tour times. Guests staying inside the park must meet us at Buck Wild Hummer Tours 469 AZ-64 Tusayan AZ 86023. WHAT TO EXPECT

This small-group, time-saving tour of the Grand Canyon begins at your selected start time (or, if youve upgraded, before sunset). Make your own way to the meeting point in the town of Tusayan, or request pickup from your nearby hotel.

Next, set off in your specially designed Hummer, outfitted with stadium-style seating to ensure everyone has unimpeded views of the scenery. Over the space of just 2 hours, youll make multiple stops at the most scenic places along the South Rim, thanks to your guides local knowledge. With ample time to soak up the scenery, you can pose for photos and even look out for local wildlife.

As you go, your guide will provide an in-depth introduction to the areas history, nature, and geology. Hear stories and learn facts that you wouldnt encounter on your own.

Our pickup is anywhere in Northern Arizona. Any hotel or house is fine with us. We will coordinate a proper pickup time for the time of the year your hike falls on. We will call within 48 hours to set up your time and place of pickup. We have free pick up from Williams, Flagstaff, and Grand Canyon in our clean Honda Odysseys. We do NOT pickup in Sedona as that is too far away. You can drive 45 minutes to Flagstaff and we will meet you in Flagstaff. The drive from Sedona to GC is about 2 hours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is arguably the best hike on the planet. The trail we take is facing the sunset the entire hike and we will choose the perfect place for you to see sunset, depending on your hiking level. Our world famous Canyon Chicken Wrap Awaits you for dinner at the best dinner spot on Earth. Best food in grand canyon above or below the rim. We will see the Golden Hour before sunset where the canyons colors really explode. After dinner and enjoying the canyon, we will hike up to the ideal spot to see the sunset's pastels and beautiful canyon shadows. This is the widest and most beautiful part of Grand canyon known as the heart of the canyon. We will take your camera and get amazing photos the entire trip. We enjoy finishing the final part of the hike by headlamp at night. This is everybodys favorite part of the trip but you are welcome to request getting out before dark. . Animals come out at dusk and we will be hunting for scorpions with our black light. You will only do this once in your life, make the dream come true.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This Grand Canyon tour begins

in the town of Tusayan, AZ. Travel to Grand Canyon National Park and stop at the National Geographic Visitor Centers IMAX Theater to watch the film entitled, Grand Canyon: the Movie, an entertainment experience unlike any other. Being here, inside the movie, is as good as being there, in the Grand Canyon, on a screen thats over six stories tall with 12,000 watts of earth-shaking, digital surround sound power.

The featured film is a journey over, around, and through the Grand Canyon. Explore all 277 miles with the mysterious Anasazi tribe, ancestors of the modern Pueblo Indians, who inhabited the canyon 4,000 years ago, and John Wesley Powell, famous for his exploration of the canyon and the raging Colorado River in 1869. Then fly like an eagle over the rim and swoop into the depths of the canyon, complete with a whitewater rafting trip down the raging Colorado River below.

Following the movie, choose from three different Jeep toursa daytime adventure and two sunset options. The daytime tour runs provide plenty of scheduling flexibility while the sunset tours are a bit more limited on timings.

On the daytime tour, ride from the East Rim to the South Rim and soak up the scenery at various lookout points, including the Desert View Watchtower, a 70-foot-high stone building that serves as the highest point on the South Rim. On a clear day, see more than 100 miles into the distance. Along the way, learn about the history of the Grand Canyon and the geologic forces that helped to create it. Also, find out about the various people that inhabited and explored the canyon, as far back as 4,000 years ago.

On the sunset tour, enjoy the same style of travel and sightseeing as the daytime tour, with the added bonus of an incredible Grand Canyon sunset to top off the day. Choose from two departure times each highlighted by a breathtaking sunsetan exhilarating palette of colors exploding across the canyon's giant rock cliffs. Look on in amazement as the shadows cover the gorges and canyon walls in rich orange, rust, and red colors.

The tour ends with a return trip to the town of Tusayan for a hotel drop-off.

Enjoy a short walk and some free time at the Desert View Watchtower. Your guide will talk about trails and hiking at the Canyon. Learn about famed architect Mary J. Coulter who designed many of the park's historical buildings including Hopi House, Hermit's Rest, Lookout Studio and Desert View Watchtower.

5: Pipe Creek Vista

Continue along Desert View Drive, stopping at 1-2 more viewpoints that may include Two Trees, No Name or Pike Creek Vista. Learn about early inhabitants of the area, Spanish explorers, the Powell expeditions and Thomas Moran.

6: Grand Canyon Visitor Center Imax

Your tour begins and ends at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center IMAX theater. Your tour includes FREE admission to the IMAX movie, "Grand Canyon-Rivers of Time." History, science and mythology come alive through super-high resolution time-lapse photography. You'll soar over the Canyon and learn about its geological history, a billion years in the making. Travel in the footsteps of early indigenous peoples, Spanish conquistadors and colorful frontiersmen. Discover the rich history of the landscapes and see some of the first photos ever taken in the canyon.
