St George's, in the southwest of Grenada Island, is the country's capital and largest city; and is spread out along the coast and nestled between the water and rolling hills, making for one picturesque getaway. Ecotourism in Grenada is also popular, with many guest houses and resorts in this vein to be found further afield in Gouyave and St David. Grenada is also renowned for its top-tier beaches, high-quality nutmeg, and its many popular waterfalls.

Grenada Island
Grenada is a small trio of islands in the Caribbean. It is known as 'the Spice Island' for the fragrant nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, and cocoa that flourish in its fertile volcanic soil. Grenada boasts a lush national park and rain forest so you get a great mix of beach and jungle. It is the perfect vacation getaway for travelers with wanderlust who enjoy beautiful views and the island life experience. About seven miles to the north of Grenada, however, is one of the most active volcanoes in the Lesser Antilles. It is Diamond Island, a submarine volcano, 525 feet below sea level, known locally as 'Kich em Jenny.'
