Make your way to the View Hotel in Monument Valley Tribal Park 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (entrance fee not included). Meet your guide and your group for a prompt departure down the 17-mile (25 kilometer) Valley Loop Drive on this Viator Exclusive tour.

The 2.5HR tour covers 28 miles of rough terrain. Your tour guided will explain and point out all the rock formations, movie locations, as well as share with you our culture and traditional values. You will be getting on and off the truck to take spectacular pictures of Natural Arches, Anasazi Ruins, Petroglyphs and also optional is a visit to Grandma's Hogan. The visit at Grandma's Hogan well include a little demonstration about weaving and the dyeing of wool for our Traditional Navajo Handmade Rugs.

(MDT) When we are on daylight savings time we are 1hr ahead of Arizona time, when we are off daylight savings time we are the same time as Arizona time. If you are not sure about what time we are. Please make sure you are using the correct time zone for your scheduled tours. If you show up an hour late for your tour, we cannot guarantee a rescheduling of your tour, so please be aware of the time differences.

Please put contact information on your reservation, preferably a phone number we can reach you at when you are traveling. A working phone number is very important, we may need to contact you about your reservation the day before or the day of your tour. If there is a way you can put your email in please do so. Having both forms of contact information included with your reservation helps with communicating with you. Communicating with us about your tour is appreciated. Navajo Nation Park Entrance fee is not included with the price of the tour. You can either purchase the park entrance fee separately, you can purchase a ticket at the toll booth at the entrance of the park or at the Welcome Center. If you pre purchase a ticket it well help getting pass the toll booth faster.

The PickUp location is NOT at the Welcome Center that is by the round about. The Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center is 3-4 miles East of the Welcome Center. If you need help locating the PickUp location or you are running late call or txt me so I can assist you. I can help with sending you a pin for the exact location of the turquoise tour booth.

Please be advised that we have a 2 person minimum occupancy for all tours. If you have any questions about the 2 person minimum occupancy call us. If you are a single traveler sometimes we have tours already scheduled to go out for a tour that we can schedule you in with, if we do not have a tour scheduled for the day or tour you are requesting, you may have to purchase a second ticket. We do our best to work with single travelers so please call before you make a reservation to see what tours we have available for you.

During the summer it does get hot here so when booking a tour keep that in mind. Check weather conditions and temperatures when booking your tour. Make sure to dress properly for the tour. Wearing sandals during the summer is not recommended, the sand and rocks do get hot.

Please be advised that during winter hours we do not have some evening tours available. Please double check tour times with sunset time. We do not want to take you out on a late tour. Winter time we have shorter days so Sunset times are around 5-6pm. If you reserve a tour that starts at 5pm, you well have a very short time of daylight and the rest of your tour well be in the dark.

Keep weather temperatures in mind when booking a tour. It does get hot here during the summer and it does get cold here during the winter. If you do not mind the heat we well do the tour, if you do not mind the cold we well do the tour but please be prepared and dress accordingly to the weather. Winter time we do have blankets available for open air trucks and we also have enclosed vehicles for some tours. When there is no enclosed available we well have you set in the front seat of the open with your guide.

If you want an enclosed vehicle please let us know ahead of time so we can do what we can to work with you.

Your journey begins in darkness about three hours before the first light of dawn. This strategic timing grants you the privilege of ascending to the pinnacle of Hunts Mesa and positioning yourself at an optimal vantage point to witness the birth of a new day. As the sun graces the horizon, you find yourself perched on the Eastern Cliffs of Hunts Mesa. Below you golden light begins to paint the landscape. Foot trails unfold in both directions, hugging the cliffs overlooking iconic views of Monument Valley.

Spend the morning relaxing and enjoying different views from locations along the rim/cliffs of Hunts Mesa. Your Navajo guide will share stories with you about Monument Valley and the history of Hunts Mesa.

Your descent from Hunts Mesa traverses a different road taking about two hours. You will visit Spider Arch, located in Double Arch Canyon. A short hike is required to access this secluded attraction. Hiking shoes are recommended. The hike is easy.

During the 2.5 hour tour you will visit sites such as the amazing Big Hogan arch, Sun's Eye arch and ancient rock art, Ear of the Wind arch, Totem Pole and Yei bi chei rock formations, John Fords Point and more. You will also visit a Navajo Hogan where you can witness the Navajo demonstrate their craft of rug weaving!

During the 2.5 hour tour through the restricted region of Monument Valley you will explore the sacred unforgettable homeland of the Navajo people. The first stop on your tour adventure will be John Ford's Point, a site that often featured in John Ford's western movies. You will then continue your journey further into the backcountry and you will visit the valley's second largest arch Sun's Eye arch. Discover some of the valley's oldest Anasazi ruins, petroglyphs and pictographs. 1.5 hours tour is 17 miles in length. It takes you on the self guided route where you will closely see tall spectacular monuments and enjoy fantastic view of natural lanscapes, including Red spiral rocks, buttes, mesas and so on. Our experienced tour guides will also point out areas movies were filmed, such as Transformers and Forrest Gump. They will share with you the history of monument valley. You can hear ancient legends and interesting anecdotes, passed down by words of mouth generation to generation, that are only know by local Navajo people.

You will arrive John Ford's Point at first, where many of John Wayne's classic western movies were filmed. Then you will visit Totem Pole, Yei Bi Cheii, and North Window, which offers magnificent views of the West and East Mitten. In the end, the tour guide will drop you off on the departure point.

Mystery Valley is exactly what it's named after. It is a mystery. This tour will take you back in time... You will see Beautiful large arches, Anasazi ruins, petroglyphs as well as pictographs. There will be a bit of hiking on this tour. about 150 feet hikes to get to some of the arches. hiking shoes recommended.

(MDT) When we are on daylight savings time we are 1hr ahead of Arizona time, when we are off daylight savings time we are the same time as Arizona time. If you are not sure about what time we are on, you can call or txt me. Please make sure you are using the correct time zone for your scheduled tours. If you show up an hour late for your tour, we cannot guarantee a rescheduling of your tour, so please be aware of the time differences.

A working phone number is very important, we may need to contact you about your reservation the day before or the day of your tour. If there is a way you can put your email in please do so. Navajo Nation Park Entrance fee is not included with the price of the tour. You can either purchase the park entrance fee separately online or you can purchase a ticket at the toll booth at the entrance of the park or at the Welcome Center. If you pre purchase a ticket it well help getting pass the toll booth faster.

The PickUp location is NOT at the Welcome Center that is by the round about. The Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center is 3-4 miles East of the Welcome Center. If you need help locating the PickUp location or you are running late call or txt me so I can assist you. I can help with sending you a pin for the exact location of the turquoise tour booth.

Please be advised that we have a 2 person minimum occupancy for all tours. If you have any questions about the 2 person minimum occupancy call us. If you are a single traveler sometimes we have tours already scheduled to go out for a tour that we can schedule you in with, if we do not have a tour scheduled for the day or tour you are requesting, you may have to purchase a second ticket. Please be advised that during winter hours we do not have some evening tours available. Please double check tour times with sunset time. We do not want to take you out on a late tour. Winter time we have shorter days so Sunset times are around 5-6pm. If you reserve a tour that starts at 5pm, you well have a very short time of daylight and the rest of your tour well be in the dark.

Keep weather temperatures in mind when booking a tour. It does get hot here during the summer and it does get cold here during the winter. If you do not mind the heat we well do the tour, if you do not mind the cold we well do the tour but please be prepared and dress accordingly to the weather. Winter time we do have blankets available for open air trucks and we also have enclosed vehicles for some tours. When there is no enclosed available we well have you set in the front seat of the open with your guide.

Artists Point (Pass by)

As we learn, we're also driving. The tour brings us next to Artist's Point. This overlook, unsurprisingly, is famously popular among painters and illustrators. Countless artists have set up canvasses here and recreated this stunning landscape with paint and brush.

North Window Overlook (Pass by)

Our drive continues towards the North Window Overlook, a picture-perfect spot for the sunrise. Those morning rays illuminating the buttes and spires of Monument Valley arent something youll soon forget! Even if you're here after sunrise, the vistas are unparalleled.

Camel Butte (Pass by)

Finally, we're at the last incredible vista of the tour: Camel Butte and Elephant Butte. Camel Butte might not look especially like a camel, but when youre naming rocks you have to get creative! Camel Butte almost hits 1,000 feet but pales in comparison to its sibling, Elephant Butte, stretching over 1,000 feet high. Now that might be impressive on its own, but remember that youre on a plateau right now which is already raised around 5,000 feet. That means the peak of Elephant Butte is more than 6,000 feet above sea level!
