Games are recommended for ages 13 and up. Younger players are allowed, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. An adult, 18 or older, must participate with anyone that is 14 and under. Also, any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.

Upon arrival, please check in at the Belle Meade Visitors Center. There you may present your prepaid admission ticket for entry. After your guided Mansion tour is complete, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting. The Grounds of Belle Meade, which are 30 acres and designated as an Arboretum, are self-guided. We suggest allowing two hours total for the guided tour and self guided tour of the grounds. Arriving late for your tour may result in not being able to experience the tour.

Additionally, Belle Meade offers Wine and Food Pairings, a Guided Outbuildings Tour, and Bourbon Tastings. An onsite restaurant, The Belle Meade Meat & Three, is also available. Once in Franklin, visit those sites close to where the Union and Confederate armies fought during the Civil War. Hear stories from the knowledgeable guide about the Battle of Franklin, fought on November 30, 1864 and known by many as the five bloodiest hours of the Civil War.

Visit the Carter House, which served as the Federal headquarters during the battle, and the Lotz House, which became a makeshift field hospital after the war. Both places have been refurbished, but still show their battle scars from the war with bullet and cannonball holes as well as blood stained floors and walls.

Then, spend time in the town of Franklin to shop, eat (own expense) and view some of its historic sites. From there, its off to the Carnton Plantation, a 48-acre farm which also served as a Confederate field hospital after the Battle of Franklin. A graveyard for the Confederate soldiers that perished remains the largest private Confederate cemetery in the United States.

A knowledgeable tour guide shares a few of the many stories about the Opry and the country music superstars that have played here, from the past to the present.

See photos from some of the Grand Ole Opry's biggest moments in history and walk through the artists entrance, where new stars, superstars, and the legends of country music enter the building on the night of a show. There might even be an opportunity to step on stage and into the famed wooden circle as countless musicians and artists have done for many years. Additionally, the tour may include a stop at Studio A, a live television studio and the former home of the hit television variety show Hee Haw, which aired from 1969 until 1992.

Also, see some of the 18 artist dressing rooms, decorated with a unique theme honoring a country music legend and enjoy a video from Grand Ole Opry members Blake Shelton or Darius Rucker, who offer their personal perspectives on what its like behind the scenes at the Opry.

WHAT TO EXPECT

See a different side of Nashville as you relax on the river and float three miles downstream with your guide to downtown Nashville, right in the middle of Broadway! We provide all safety equipment, paddle introduction and basics. We also provide complimentary water and sunscreen. Just show up and we take care of the rest!

Our paddle boards are rated for up to 400 pounds and it is very important that guests do not exceed the weight limit due to risk of capsizing. NO ALCOHOL is allowed on tours. Strong headwinds and current can increase the difficulty and duration of your trip. This is an open commercial waterway with operating boats, barges and we will be paddle boarding through an industrial section of the city to view the skyline.
