WHAT TO EXPECT

San Juan Islands (Pass by)

Your tour will include at least one stop in the San Juan Islands. On our regularly scheduled flights to San Juan Island we stop to drop off and pick up passengers. Stops vary from 5 to 60 minutes depending on the schedule. You may get a quick stop as short as five minutes or up to 60 minutes.

Puget Sound (Pass by)

The flight will follow the Puget Sound, offering views of the several different little islands along the way.

Space Needle (Pass by)

You'll get a view of the Space Needle from the air on the way to and/or on the way back from San Juan Island.

Get ready to discover the original Emerald City, the city of Seattle, Washington, from its inception in the 1890s. This entertaining and educational underground voyage travels beneath the streets to uncover three blocks of historic, old Pioneer Square. Explore not only the underground passageways that were built more than 120 years ago, but also the modern Pioneer Square that exists today.

Make your way to 102 Cherry Street near Pioneer Street to start your tour. Hear tales from the past, including the story of the stampede to the Yukon gold fields and Seattle's crucial role in what would become the Klondike Gold Rush. Find out about Skid Row, a dilapidated urban area that served as the main street in Pioneer Square. And get to know the history of a group of people called the Coast Salish, the ethnically and linguistically related Indigenous peoples that first settled here.

If you are staying outside our legal pick up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up locationSheraton Grand (1400 6th Ave). If you're unsure whether your hotel or rental is part of the downtown corridor, give us a call and we can confirm whether your hotel is included!

We also make quick stops near SeaTac Airport or Tacoma when requested.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At 14,410 feet above sea level, beautiful and majestic Mt Rainier is an icon in the Washington landscapean active volcano and the most glaciated peak in the United States, creating six major rivers.

This day trip nature tour to hike and/or snowshoe around Mt. Rainier National Park begins with a Seattle hotel pickup followed by a scenic drive to the park in a luxury vehicle. Upon arrival, enjoy Seattle coffee and pastries before starting the trek along the Nisqually Vista Trail. Be on the lookout for wildlife wandering around the mountain at any time.

This all-day Mt Rainier tour includes frequent stops to take pictures and enjoy light snacks. A picnic lunch of locally sourced, organic foods (grilled chicken or salmon, sandwich or wrap, with a grain or green salad and water or soda) is also provided midday.

At the end of the day, its back down the mountain to take a relaxing return trip to Seattle.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After morning pickup at your hotel in downtown Seattle, climb into your spacious vehicle and begin the journey to Olympic National Park with your guide and small group. Start with a ferry trip across Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island, where the journey begins.

The park features snow-covered mountains, temperate rainforests, and the majestic Pacific coastline. There are remote beaches, plus the countrys oldest forests and one of Washingtons most dramatic mountain ranges. The Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the greatest wilderness left in the United States, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enjoy short, interpretive nature walks throughout the day. If there is enough snow for snowshoeing, the guide will bring all the necessary equipment. Itineraries vary based on conditions and which sights are at their best during your visit.

In between your sightseeing stops and hiking, enjoy a freshly prepared, organic picnic lunch. Beverages are also provided along the way.

Weather permitting, drive up to Hurricane Ridge for mountain views and spot wildlife and waterfalls along the scenic routes. Visit the pristine waters of Lake Crescent in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains. You may also spend more time among the forests and waterfalls of the Elwha Valley.

Finally, after a full day of sightseeing, return to Seattle.

Instead, you suddenly notice the trees are bigger, the moss is greener, and you wouldn't be surprised if Sasquatch ambled out of the forest as you pass by. Encompassing nearly 1 million miles, Olympic National Park is another world.

In summer, we'll travel up to wander along the trails through the subalpine meadows and try to spot deer and marmots among the wildflowers.
In winter, (road closure and weather dependent) we'll trek along the ridge on snowshoes and experience how beautiful the change of seasons can be.

This is a view spot of the water and mountains. On a clear day you can see the Olympic Mountains, West Point Lighthouse and the ferries crossing the Sound. You can hear the seals barking and watch the cargo and tugboats float by. The Ballard Locks are Seattle's 3rd most popular attraction. We walk the bikes through the Carl English Botanical Gardens before seeing the boats pass through the locks. The locks opened in 1917 and connects salt water to the fresh water of Lake Washington. It's the busiest lock in the United States and also popular with migrating salmon and the seals, sea lions, eagles, and osprey who come for an easy meal. There's a fish ladder with an underwater viewing gallery.

3: Fishermen's Terminal

Seattle 's roots are in the fishing industry and the Fishermen's Terminal is the place to see real live fishermen and fisherwomen, and the Alaskan fishing fleet. 50% of all seafood sold in the United States is associated with this marina. We can ride the electric bikes all the way down the docks and get right up to the boats. I'll tell you how salmon fishing operates and why the Alaskan fishermen spend the off-season in Seattle rather than just stay in Alaska.

4: Wallingford Center

Not the Center but Gasworks Park in the Wallingford neighborhood. Favorite place to take pictures and on the 4th of July watch the fireworks.
