QUEBEC CITY - HOTEL ZONES

Downtown / Old Québec City

Staying in the downtown area of Quebec City is an enchanting experience, combining historical charm with modern amenities. The area, especially Old Quebec, is filled with 400+ years of history, and several hotels. Explore the charm with its cobblestone streets and several historic sites including the beautiful Notre-Dame Cathedral, Fortifications of Quebec, and Chateau Frontenac, to name a few. The attractions of Old Quebec are highly walkable, with most attractions, shops, and restaurants conveniently located for exploring without the need for a car.

There are two areas of the Old Quebec City area: Upper and Lower Quebec City. The Upper Town rests within the heights of the imposing Chateau Frontenac and offers a stunning panoramic view. The inner area of the walls of Old Quebec and Parliament Hill, as well as the Plains of Abraham, are all located in the Upper Town. The Lower Town is where you’ll find the artisan shops in the Petit-Champlain and the waterfront ambiance of the Old Port.
