The accommodations found on Vieques Island are stylish and laid back with beachfront hotels, chic guesthouses, BandBs, and unique vacation rentals. Isabel Segunda is where most of the action can be found on the island situated on the northern side where the ferry docks are located. There are several hotels found in and around Isabel along with restaurants, shops, and transportation options. Esperanza is a smaller neighborhood that caters to tourists on the southern side of the island with views of the Caribbean sea and a waterfront street filled with accommodations and restaurants. The island boasts some charming pristine beaches with great activities such as snorkeling, swimming, horseback riding, and the astonishing Bioluminescent Bay. Many beachfront accommodations in Esperanza are within walking distance of restaurants and the guesthouses offer some great on-site amenities and laid back experiences.
