El Batey

El Batey is the main tourist section adjacent to the famous Sosúa Beach and close to many of the town’s bars, restaurants, and shops. This area is home to several all-inclusive resorts, as well as a number of small hotels and guest houses. It is a great area to enjoy the nightlife scene, with plenty of bars, clubs, and restaurants. In addition to beach activities like swimming, snorkeling, and diving, El Batey offers a variety of water sports. It is an easy area to navigate on foot and many attractions are within walking distance from accommodations.

Playa Chiquita

Playa Chiquita, true to its name, is a small, secluded beach favored by both locals and visitors seeking a quieter, more intimate beach experience. Located just east of Sosua’s town center, near the El Batey neighborhood, it’s hidden in a residential area, making it less crowded and more laid-back compared to other beaches nearby. Unlike larger beaches, Playa Chiquita lacks beachside vendors, restaurants, or bars. The beach is framed by rocky cliffs and lush greenery, creating a serene and natural atmosphere, ideal for relaxation, sunbathing, and soaking in the stunning coastal views.
