City Center

Pucon’s city center is where most of the action can be found with plenty of options for accommodations, dining, and entertainment. It's a charming downtown area with Swiss chalet-style wooden buildings lining the streets and astonishing views of the majestic Villarrica Volcano. Pucon’s downtown area is the gateway to the amazing Chilean Lake District, and natural surroundings with soaring mountains and volcanoes, pristine forests, crystal clear lakes, and lush verdant forests. The lookalike Swiss mountain town is full of appeal with a busy main road of Bernardo O’Higgins Street brimming with cozy cafes, boutique shops, and excellent restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood and traditional Chilean fare. The promenade by the Paseo Ansorena intersection offers plenty of handicraft stalls, food trucks, and tons of restaurants and cafes. The downtown area offers numerous hotels and accommodations with amenities to satisfy every taste and budget. Options range from charming boutique hotels to luxury resorts, and cozy cabins. 

Villarrica

Villarrica is a charming village nestled on the western edge of Lago Villarrica just outside of Pucon. The dominant Villarrica Volcano rises in the background one of the main draws to this popular region along with the Chilean Lake District. Villarrica is an attractive lakeside village that boasts plenty of great accommodation options and is a good, much quieter alternative to Pucon. Villarrica is home to several beaches that are a popular spot in the summertime, the lake is a great destination for everything water-related. The lake is where visitors like to spend the day and go swimming, kayaking, sailing, sport fishing, and water skiing. The Villarrica Volcano is popular year-round for hiking, and ziplining and for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding at the popular ski center in the wintertime. There are some wonderful lakeside accommodations available in Villarrica with excellent amenities and serene lake views. 

Pucon

Staying on the outskirts of Pucon offers a quieter and slower change of pace than staying in the busy city center. Lodgings on the outskirts of Pucon put guests among the serene, natural, and scenic surroundings of the lake, mountains, and lush forests. Accommodations out here include cozy wooden cabins, luxury lodges and villas, and quaint cabanas and chalets all boasting some of the best views around. There are some unique lodging options on the mountainside located at the Pucon Ski Resort that are great for wintertime ski vacations and accessing the ski resort.
