Town

San Pedro de Atacama is a small desert town offering some great accommodation options many centrally located. There are a variety of options in San Pedro including high-end hotels, boutique resorts, all-inclusive hotels, and luxury guesthouses with a full range of amenities like swimming pools, spas, landscaped gardens, and spectacular scenic views. Staying in town allows visitors easy access to dining, and entertainment as well as transportation and tours to the surrounding natural and cultural attractions in the desert. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding area. 

Outskirts

There are plenty of options to choose from in the surrounding Atacama Desert with some incredible accommodation options like high-end hotels, or glamping. The desert provides some spectacular and unique places to stay amongst the stunning scenic surroundings. Many of the properties in the desert are the perfect destination for stargazing, with one hotel even offering its own private observatory for its guests.  The town of Calama is another place to find accommodation when visiting the desert, this is where the nearest airport is located with a few good accommodations, restaurants, and more.
