City Center

Arad’s city center is the place to be. The heart of the city is where most of the action will be including accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, dining, and nightlife options. The city features striking late 19th and 20th-century architecture mixing neoclassical, baroque, and Secession style, especially along the wide tree-lined Bvd Revolutiei which runs north to south in the city. There are many great places to stay nestled along the Mures River banks with great views and scenic surrounding parks.

Outskirts

The outskirts of Arad can be a charming place to stay with the Arad vineyards and sprawling countryside offering visitors some great accommodation options. The 5,000-year-old Tel Arad Fortress is an archeological wonder just 4 miles west of Arad. The outskirts include the business area of Arad situated close to the A1 motorway, also the city’s main industrial area allowing visitors easy connections in and out of the city. Many of the hotels on the outskirts offer a relaxed vibe away from the main hustle and bustle of the city center.
