City Center

The city center of Oreada is where most of the tourist highlights are located along with many of the city’s great hotels, and other accommodations. The Balie Felix health spas are found in the heart of the city along with the main train and bus stations making it easy to connect to other neighborhoods. The city center is simply beautiful filled with art nouveau buildings and the bustling main squares of Piata Republicii (north) and Piata Unirii (south) which are split in two by the sparkling Crisul Repede River and linked by several charming bridges. Calea Republicii is a long pedestrianized street lined by lovely Secessionist buildings housing quaint cafes with charming terraces and unique shops. Oradea is referred to as Let Petit Paris (The Little Paris) a prosperous elegant city where tourism is booming. Visitors can find some great accommodations in the city center and some along the river banks with great views.

Outskirts

There are many popular hotel chains found on the outskirts of Oradea including a Hilton and Ramada. The hotels here range from modern and glistening structures that offer some great amenities and cozy rooms, to some very elegant and charming hotels with various price ranges. Some popular neighborhoods include Olosig which is situated along the riverside and known for its verdant green spaces and fantastic museums, Decebal-Dacia is a relaxed neighborhood known for its fine architecture. The outskirts are well connected to the city center by the city’s tram and bus services. The accommodations on the outskirts can offer guests some great views over the city itself or the river.
