City Center

Tulcea city center is a great place to stay when visiting the large port city on the Danube Delta River. The city has some great accommodations on offer with plenty of hotels, and motels that are located within walking distance to some of the main attractions as well as the river. The city center is the location of the main train and bus station in the city making it easy to connect to other destinations. Restaurants, shops, and bars can be found in the heart of the city and many of the top sightseeing spots are located here too. Basing yourself in the city center puts you within close proximity to the river where daily boat tours depart from the port daily.

Outskirts

Staying on the outskirts of Tulcea is a nice option when visiting the city or taking trips on the Danube Delta river. There are some great hotels located in the outskirts, some may be located along the mighty river. There are some nice surrounding neighborhoods with plenty to offer visitors who might be seeking some peace and quiet from the bustle of the city center. Some of these neighborhoods are within walking distance to the city center and have plenty of things to do including dining and shopping opportunities.
