China
Thousands of years of history are on display in China, the `Middle Kingdom` that was once the center of the world stage, and arguably is as close to the center of the world today, leading the way in technology and, increasingly, modern popular culture. The billion-plus people of China live in varying climates, from the north, which can get cold and icy in winter, to more temperate climates further south. Beijing, the country`s showcase capital, is home to such sights as the Forbidden City and many vantage points on the Great Wall of China. Shanghai, modern with many European influences, is the country`s second city and in many respects is even more important than the capital today. That's not to mention the vast lands further west, ranging from jungles to deserts.

Japan
Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun, is a very busy nation of over 120 million people, who live on a chain of islands roughly the size of California. Japan is a great place to experience modern technological marvels, often alongside or close to historical sights such as castles, temples, and archaeological exhibits. The four major islands of Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu) offer varying experiences for the traveler, from relaxing hot springs to ski getaways to temple pilgrimages to some of the world`s best shopping and boutiques.

Macau
Macau offers its visitors the best of both worlds with the ultra-modern casino strip on Cotai, world-class shopping, and a glistening nightlife, to the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring 25 historic monuments and public squares. Dine, shop, and be entertained at the Venetian Casino, the largest casino in the world or stand in awe at the remaining Ruins at St Paul's in the historic center decorated by colorful squares, quaint cafes and delicious bakeries.
