Diocletian`s Palace is the gem of the Old Town, a pedestrianized zone which includes the beautiful riverwalk called Riva. It could not blend traditions and modern life more perfectly; buzzing shops, restaurants, and bars are situated alongside monuments and buildings dating from the Roman era. The dramatic backdrop of mountains bleeds into the sea, giving an atmospheric setting to this stunning city.
