Have a Road Trip adventure at France's Normandy Coast; a place that marked the beginning of a long and costly campaign to liberate northwestern Europe from Nazi occupation during WWII. Begin with a stay in Paris (The City of Lights with impressive monuments, museums, culture and gastronomy). After that, drive along the stretch of Normandy, and discover The D-Day Beaches (they were the landing places for the Allied invasion of western Europe during World War II). Finally, drive back to Paris, for one last night stay, before heading back home. This is a flexible vacation package. Select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities.

Trip Summary

  • Paris

Paris is regarded as one of the most dynamic cities in Europe, and for good reason: the city assaults the senses; demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled. Gaze at impressive monuments and savor its gourmet cheeses, chocolates, wines, and seafood. Paris is relatively small as capitals go, with many of its major sights and museums within walking distance of each other. A world of discovery awaits in every hidden corner and at all the famous sites, there is so much to explore.

Visit the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Jardin des Tuileries, Latin Quarter, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Musee d'Orsay, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and so much more!

  • Normandy - D-Day Beaches

A visit to the beaches, where the greatest invasion force of all time landed, is a must for anyone visiting Normandy’s north coast. The 54 miles of Atlantic coast north of Bayeau - stretching from Utah Beach in the west to Sword Beach in the east - are dotted with WWII museums, monuments, cemeteries, and battle remains left in tribute to the courage of British, Canadian, and American armies that successfully carried out the largest military operation in history, D-Day. It was these tranquil beaches, on a rainy week in early June 1944, that the Allies finally gained a foothold in France; from this moment, Nazi Europe was destined to collapse.

Visit Utah Beach and Museum of the Landings, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Colleville-sur-Mer, Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, Longues-sur-Mer Battery, Juno Beach Center (Museum), Audrieu, and more.
