  • Alsace Lorraine - Vosges Mountains
    Alsace Lorraine - Vosges Mountains

The Vosges Mountains are a paramount destination in the landscape of Eastern France. Unlike the Alps and the Pyrenees, the Vosges Mountains are synonymous with softness thanks to the rounded shape of their peaks, the 'balloons' (rounded summits). This mountainous mass offers a variety of landscapes, including glacial lakes, wet and high altitude meadows, deep valleys, waterfalls, cliffs and rocks. In addition to the superb views, this is also an adventure sports center and an idyllic world of lakes and thatched houses. The Vosges Mountains serve superb food in a reinvigorating environment, which helps to make it one of the most refreshing destinations in France. Admire Notre Dame Cathedral, the Petite France district in Strasbourg, The village of Kaysersberg, The Railway Museum, the Cite de l`Automobile in Mulhouse, Unterlinden Museum of Comar, and so much more!

  • Alsace Lorraine - Alsace Wine Region
Alsace Lorraine - Alsace Wine Region

The Alsace Wine Region lies on the verge of France bordering Germany boasting an amazingly autochthonous culture. Alsace produces quite a lot of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Crémant d’Alsace: a sparkling wine that is mushrooming in popularity. The best vineyards have long been associated with the Haut-Rhin where you will find many of the prestigious Alsace Grand Cru vineyards. Discover the impressive fortifications and magnificent medieval castles of Alsace, silent witnesses which made it a strategic place in times of war and experience the very unique Alsatian culture, its exquisite cuisine and of course one of the best wines of the world. Visit Bergheim, Barr, Eguisheim, Kintzheim, Marlenheim, Obernai, Ottrott, Ribeauville, Riquewihr, Rosheim, Saint-Hippolyte, Selestat, Turckheim.

  • Strasbourg
    Strasbourg

Strasbourg has been `walking the tight rope` between France and Germany, and is all the more exciting and beautiful for it. We`re left with a city boasting beautiful turn-of-the-century districts built by the Germans, and hi-tech 17th-century fortifications designed by Vauban. The sense of cross-pollination continues in the cuisine and wine, and also in the presence of international institutions like the European Parliament. Visit The Musée Alsacien, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, La Petite France, Maison Kammerzell, Quartier Krutenau, Historical Museum, Parc de l`Orangerie, European Parliament, and so much more!
