Greece
Greece is THE land of ancient sites and architectural treasures: the Acropolis in Athens, the amphitheater of Epidaurus, the reconstructed palace at Knossos, the belly button of the cosmos at Delphi, fallen columns galore on the sacred island of Delos, and frescoed Minoan palaces on Crete. But don't expect a visit there to be a sober study of the ancient world, the Greek propensity for partying dates back to Dionysus. Then there are 1400 islands to explore. Greece is much more than what you were taught at school or the predictable summer image of glorious sunsets and sandy beaches.
Albania
Albania is well-known for its contributions to culture, which stretches back over two millennia. You can see artifacts and works of art created by the people who call Albania home in the country`s many museums, of which the Durrës Archaeological Museum and the National Art Gallery are two not to be missed. Albania`s beaches are very popular, ranging from the untouched and pristine to flashy and touristy. Finally, it can`t be ignored that Albania`s Communist-era history and relics set it apart even from other former Communist nations in Eastern Europe.
Macedonia
Macedonia, formerly known as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), is known for its long and eventful history, stretching back to the Bronze Age. It is known for its strong religious tradition, and there are hundreds of picturesque Orthodox cathedrals and mosques that are each distinctly beautiful. North Macedonia is known as having an underrated food culture, with an emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine and fresh produce. For as small as North Macedonia is compared to its Balkan neighbors, the geography is surprisingly varied here, home to Europe`s two oldest lakes and over 50 mountains higher than 6,000 feet.

Thessaloniki (also known as Salonica) offers the cosmopolitan culture and energy of a big city with the friendly ambience and charm of a smaller town. It's a wonderful destination to experience the real Greece without the crowds and congestion of Athens. This beautiful city has an impressive multi ethnic heritage, influenced by the diverse civilizations that have left their mark, including the Romans, Venetians, and Ottoman Turks. Visitors are awed by the ancient ruins, Byzantine churches, and the world-class archaeology museum, one of the best in Greece.
Visit and discover the Ano Poli (The Upper town or Old Town), Ladadika District, Archaeological Museum, Museum of Byzantine Culture, Roman Rotunda (Saint George's Church), the markets, the White Tower: Relic of the Byzantine-Era Ramparts, Church of Saint Demetrius, Arch of Galerius, and so much more. -
Korce
Korce is one of the largest and most important cultural and economic centers of Albania. Here, the largest carnival in Albania is organized, taking place before Orthodox Easter. The city also offers a variety of museums such as the Education Museum (located in the building where the first Albanian school opened in 1887), the renewed National Museum of Medieval Art, the Prehistoric Museum, the House-Museum of the famous landscape painter, Vangjush Mio, the Museum of the Oriental Art Bratko, and Gjon Mili Photography Museum. Tirana
Tirana, located in the center of Albania, is the country's capital and most important city with regard to politics, commerce, and culture. It is located on a plain next to Mount Dajt, and due to its geographical position it is among the sunniest places in the country. Multiple points of interest are located on or around Skanderbeg Square, the largest main square not just in Albania but in the entire Balkan region.

Ohrid
Ohrid is the largest town on Lake Ohrid, considered by conservationists to be the most biodiverse lake in the world. Ohrid, in southwestern North Macedonia, was once known as the Jerusalem of the Balkans, and legend had it that the town had 365 churches, one for each day of the year. The number is smaller today, but many of these churches are still in beautiful condition and open to tourists. Both Ohrid and Lake Ohrid are on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Visit and explore the great Church of St. John at Kaneo, Samuel's Fortress, Church of St. Sophia, Church of Sts. Clement and Panteleimon, Ancient Theatre of Ohrid, Plaosnik Monastery, Robevi family house, Old Town, and so much more. -
