Korçë, also known as Korca, is the largest city in eastern Albania, surrounded by Morava Mountains, standing on a somewhat high plateau about 165 feet above sea level. Often described as the country's cultural capital, Korçë is somewhat of an underrated destination in Europe but remains one of the most beautiful cities in Albania. Believe it or not, it is also known as the cradle of culture in Albania, a bit off the beaten track, offering plenty of green parks and gardens, gorgeous buildings, and a certain resemblance with neighboring Greece regarding its cultural heritage and delicious cuisine. As a matter of fact, this beautiful city is very well known for a series of museums, which follow the art and traditions of this city also known as little Paris of Albania and are some of the most visited attractions by local and foreign tourists.
