Montenegro

Podgorica
Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, sits at the confluence of two rivers, the Ribnica and the Moraca. Inhabited since the Stone Age, Montenegro's cultural and economic epicenter has been ruled not just by the Montenegrins but also by the Ottomans and the Serbs, the latter of whom named the city Titograd. Today's Podgorica is largely made up of historic buildings from the Ottoman era and urban sprawl from the Yugoslav postwar era.

Tivat

Just in the last two generations Tivat has become one of the most popular ports of call for luxury yachts in all of the Adriatic.

Ulcinj
The Old Town in Ulcinj is one of the oldest urban architectural complexes along the Adriatic Sea. A cozy, antique, picturesque settlement with middle-aged, narrow streets and stone houses. On the upper, highest level there is the citadel-fortress with the powerful tower, dominating not only the old town, but the whole surrounding. The Palace, the Court, the mosque and the Slave Market are also part of this unique spot. Another reason so many people are attracted to Ulcinj is the beaches which are considered the best in Montenegro. Ulcinj also offers shops, traditional taverns and restaurants, some boasting amazing views with of the sea and the town below.

Budva
Budva is a main spot for tourism because of its coastal area called the Budva Riviera, known for its well-preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches, diverse and vibrant nightlife. This is the most crowded and most popular tourist resort in Montenegro and for this reason it is often referred to as the 'Montenegrin Miami'. Budva is also rich in history. This city is actually 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast. The Stari Grad (Old Town) is almost a mini Dubrovnik with marbled streets and Venetian walls rising from the clear waters below while the Citadela offers striking views.
