Bulgaria and Romania!. Combine Sofia (one of the oldest capital cities in Europe, from the 8th century BC, it houses numerous museums) and Varna (historically known as Odessos -Ancient Greek city-. Varna is an important centre for business, transportation, education, tourism, entertainment and healthcare) by air. Continue to Constanta (a city on the shores of the Black Sea, in southeastern Romania), then, Mamaia (a lively beach resort that sits on a thin strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol) and finally, Bucharest (once known as the -Little Paris-, with wide, tree-lined boulevards, and glorious Belle Époque buildings and eclectic mixture of architecture, from old monasteries to Orthodox Churches) with transfers in between cities.
