  • Indiana Dunes Beach

    Indiana Dunes Beach is made up of the 25 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline inside the boundaries of Indiana Dunes National Park, which in 2019 became Indiana`s first national park. The park stretches from Gary east to Portage, Porter, Chesterton, and Michigan City, Indiana, with the city of Valparaiso serving as a gateway to the park. There are 15 miles of beaches open to swimming and sunbathing, and the park is home to over 2,300 different species of flora and fauna.

    Brown County, Indiana is considered one of the most scenic parts of the Midwest, and is home to Brown County State Park, the largest park in Indiana. It is known for its great hiking opportunities and beautiful views, especially in the summer when the night sky looks most dazzling, and in the fall when the foliage is in fiery bloom.
