Spanning through three US states Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, and a huge portion of the northern Ontario, Canada.   • Lake Michigan

    Lake Michigan is one of the five Great Lakes and the only one located completely inside the boundaries of the United States. It is referred to as `the Third Coast` and is known for its peaceful lakeside scenes and the best beaches you won`t find on either coast. The states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan all border Lake Michigan and have their own unique sights such as awe-inspiring state and national parks, historic lighthouses, and sandy shoreline.

  • Quad Cities, IL

    The Quad Cities are located where the Rock River meets the Mississippi River. They are Rock Island and Moline on the Illinois side and Davenport and Bettendorf on the Iowa side. The Quad Cities are noteworthy historically as the site of the first rail bridge across the Mississippi River. Davenport`s `River Renaissance` and Moline`s urban renewal funded by John Deere (a company local to the area) have energized these cities, while Rock Island and Bettendorf have each held the title of `most livable small city` by the National Council of Mayors.

  • Lake Michigan Shore North

    The Lake Michigan shoreline north of Milwaukee and south of Door County is very diverse geographically, ranging from cities and towns to beaches, state parks, nature preserves, and windswept golf courses. The largest city along the coast in this area is Sheboygan, where the Sheboygan River flows into Lake Michigan. Other towns and cities on the coast include Manitowoc and Two Rivers north of Sheboygan and Port Washington and Grafton south of Sheboygan.

  • Lake Erie

    Lake Erie is the southernmost of the five Great Lakes. It is connected to the other Great Lakes by the Detroit River and the Niagara River, respectively. Lake Erie`s coastline is divided up between the U.S. states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York and the Canadian province of Ontario. Canada`s southernmost point, Point Pelée National Park, is situated on Lake Erie, and large cities such as Cleveland and Buffalo are located on the opposite shore.
