- Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi Station and from Miyajimaguchi Station to Miyajima via Ferry: Miyajimaguchi Station is a short walk to the ferry pier, from where ferries depart frequently to Miyajima. Ferry rides take 10 minutes and the Japan Rail Pass is valid on JR ferries.

- Miyajima to Miyajimaguchi Station via Ferry and from Miyajimaguchi to Hiroshima Airport: Take the ferry from Miiyajima and arrive to Miyajimaguchi train station, validate your Japan Rail Pass, and take the train that will take you to Hiroshima Airport. Journey takes approx. 20 Min.
