Miyajima Island is known as the 'Island of Gods' famous for its magnificent floating red torii gate and other historical and natural wonders. Enjoy peace and serenity on this scenic island filled with verdant forests where visitors can retreat to a traditional ryokan (Japanese Inn) and watch wild deer pass by or enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the famous torii gate. Unlike Nara, the deer on Miyajima must not be fed.
Japanese Heritage!.... Start your trip in Tokyo, the world's most populous metropolis and recently awarded as the city with best 'Nightlife', and 'Shopping'. Then take the train to Kyoto,the City of the Ten Thousand Shrines. Move along to Osaka, known as 'The City of Food'.
