The hotel in Ho Chi Minh city was amazing - the Mai House. What a great hotel in a great location. We only had one problem with transportation, and that was when we needed to be picked up from the Bhaya Cruise and be taken back to Hanoi - the driver was not there when out boat docked so we needed to wait. It wasn't a big deal, but will mention it because it was asked.

Had a couple of concerns on this trip.
1.) The hotel in Siagon was nothing as advertised in the pictures. When we arrived at the location we were greeted by a large cock roach. We changed hotels on our own the place looked so bad.
2.) When we contacted the alternate hotel, we discovered the price from Tripmaster's was over twice as much as from the hotel
3.) Our driver in Laos did not appear to very late but we could not contact Tripmaster's due to the time difference to attempt to contact the driver.
4.) Most of the flights were very early making us be at the airport by 4:00AM. A better flight selection would be helpful.

The 3-day promised when booking was only 2 days as we lost the complete Thursday due to the arrival time being 9sh pm., and Sunday departure 2/19 as the flight was at 00:25 of the 19th day.
In addition, we lost one night due to a technical issue on the airplane with UA from San Francisco to Singapore. I am glad we came back for safety to San Francisco but we had to wait 12 hours in the airport for a different plane to arrive from England.
The hotel in Vietnam was nice and clean but the bed was too hard to sleep on it so we didn't rest at all.
On the way back from Hawaii to San Francisco UA crew was rude and unattentive. We had the service light for about 30 minutes to order a tr...
