The northern Croatian Istrian coast is less than an hour away by car from Pula, Croatian Istria's largest city, and also from Portoroz and the Slovenian Riviera. The seaside cities, towns, and resorts offer a beautiful mix of buildings, ranging from stone villas to Austro-Hungarian-era grand palaces to state-of-the-art five-star resort complexes.
