Best of Panama and Costa Rica!. Enjoy Panama City (with its famous Canal, charming Casco Viejo -historic center-, active cosmopolitan life and huge skyscrapers in the Finance Center of Central America). Continue to Bocas del Toro (a beautiful archipelago that boasts fine white sand beaches, excellent coral reef structures and nearby jungle rainforests) and after that, is Boquete-Chiriqui (nestled amongst the country's most mountainous and breathtaking regions, offering visitors excellent hiking, animal and bird watching, mountain biking, and rafting adventure ). Next, you will go back to Panama City, for one last stay. Take your flight to San Jose City in Costa Rica, from where you will continue directly to Arenal Volcano (youngest and one of the most active stratovolcano in Costa Rica, near Lake Arena); and after that, to finish this trip in Guanacaste Beaches Area (known as a tropical paradise with a pristine shoreline, and beaches, beautiful mountain ranges and a plenty of activities, like: snorkeling, diving safaris, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing, surfing and sailing). This is a flexible vacation package. Select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities.

Trip Summary

  • Panama City - Canal

Panama City, known to many as the home of the Panama Canal, is just a stone's throw from some of some Central America's richest rain forests, and complex ecosystems. Modern-day Panama City is formed by the equivalent of three self-contained cities that are historically, architecturally, and in some ways culturally distinct. There is the modern city with the huge skyscrapers housing many of financial institutions, the Colonial-era 'Casco Viejo', and 'Panama Viejo' with the remnants of the original colonial city, the first in the Americas on the Pacific coast. Visit the Panama Canal, Panama Viejo, Casco Viejo, Miraflores, Causeway Islands, Metropolitan Natural Park, Bridge of the Americas, Biomuseo, Amador Causeway, and so much more!

  • Bocas del Toro

The magical archipelago of Bocas del Toro lies 300 miles northwest of Panama City brimming with soft golden sand beaches and blue azure waters where surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling and diving are all great activities. Explore the surrounding remote islands and their beauty with hikes through the jungle where exotic animals such as sloth’s and poisonous dart frogs can be seen. Bask in the warm Caribbean sunshine, cool off in the crystal clear inviting waters and simply dial into island time. Visit the Starfish Beach, Red Frog Beach, Carenero Island, Bastimentos Island, Bastimentos National Park, Zapatilla Island and much more.

  • Chiriqui Highlands

The lush mountain town of Boquete, in the Chiriquí Province of Panama, sits only 35 miles from its western border with Costa Rica. At 3,600 ft. above sea level, Boquete-Chiriquí serves as a hub for the Baru Volcano, the De Fortuna Reserve, and the Amistad National Park which straddles the Costa Rica border, offering visitors excellent hiking, animal and bird watching, mountain biking, rafting, and a comfortable year-round climate that is ideal for outdoor adventures, and near-perfect for coffee cultivation. Visit the Boquete Town, Chiriqui Province, Parque Nacional Volcan Baru, De Fortuna Reserve, Amistad National Park, Baru volcano, Panama`s coffee plantations, and so much more!
