Japan
Japan, the 'Land of the Rising Sun,' is a very busy nation of over 120 million people, who live on a chain of islands roughly the size of California. Japan is a great place to experience modern technological marvels, often alongside or close to historical sights such as castles, temples, and archaeological exhibits. The four major islands of Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu) offer varying experiences for the traveler, from relaxing hot springs to ski getaways to temple pilgrimages to some of the world's best shopping and boutiques.

Tokyo
Tokyo is Japan's energetic capital, and one of the largest, busiest cities in the world! This bustling city combines historical places, such as the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine, and Sensoji temple, with ultra modern skyscrapers like the Tokyo Tower and the world's tallest tower, the Skytree. From fashionable shopping districts to the world's largest fish market, the opportunities for adventure in Tokyo are endless.
Explore the amazing Sony building, Imperial Palace, temples of Asakusa, Shinjuku Gyoen Park, Meiji Shrine, Korakuen Garden, Ueno Park, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Sea Life Park, Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge and so much more! -
Shirakawago - Gokayama
The Shirakawa and neighboring Gokayama regions line the Shogawa River Valley in the remote mountains that span from Gifu to Toyama Prefectures. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Gokayama is a little more difficult to access and requires a change of buses in Ogimachi. Less developed and less crowded than Shirakawa-go, its villages are smaller, more intimate and with less intrusion from modern buildings.
Visit and explore the Mount Hakusan, Shirakawa-go, Gokayama, Wada House, Gassho-zukuri Minkaen, Ainokura Gassho-zukuri Village, Ogimachi Castle and so much more. -
