Durban is also known as the "Surf City," a fascinating fun-filled city that stretches along South Africa’s eastern coast possessing golden beaches, its subtropical climate, upmarket hotels and resorts, excellent cuisine, and a variety of outdoor activities. Believe it or not, this is a leading vacation destination with a beachside atmosphere, lapped by the gorgeous warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Undoubtedly, the very well known Durban city is home to The Ushaka Marine World. This is the world's 5th largest aquarium. Ushaka sits at the end of Durban City's famous “Golden Mile”. As a matter of fact, the Golden Mile is a stretch of beach that runs 4 miles from Ushaka to The Blue Lagoon.
