Nessebar is perhaps the most picturesque of all of the "ancient cities" on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Originally a Thracian settlement settled 3,000 years ago, the Ancient Greeks who lived here called the city Mesembria. Believe it or not, the Ancient City, once covering the entire area of an island, is now connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus and a two-lane road. Moreover, the entirety of the Ancient City, featuring buildings that date all the way back to the Ancient Greek era, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As a matter of fact, just a few steps to the north of town, you will find Sunny Beach, one of the largest seaside resorts in the country.
Visit the charming hill towns of Bulgaria`s Black Sea Coast (North and South), known for its wide sandy beaches, beautiful natural parks and some with traditional Romanian villages!. Combine them with a rental car service, and visit: Sunny Beach (major seaside resort on the Black Sea coast with hundreds of bars and restaurants, multiple entertainment and shops), Nessebar (with its UNESCO listed Old Town and some of the best coastline in the country), Burgas (offers relatively mild weather characterized by cooler summers and warmer winters in the south area), Sozopol (very popular destination for Bulgarian tourists in the summer months of May-September) and Varna (historically known as Odessos (Ancient Greek city), grew from a Thracian seaside settlement to a major seaport on the Black Sea. Varna is an important centre for business, transportation, education, tourism, entertainment and healthcare). This is a flexible package. Select your number of nights in each city, desired hotel and activities.
