Huaraz may not be as popular as other cities in Peru, but dont let that fool you. Huaraz is a smaller but beautiful upcoming tourist destination that is worth a visit. You will be surprised by some of the unique things to do and places you can explore at this hidden destination. You might wish to revisit it someday again, to take a break and relax at Huaraz. As mass tourism befallen Cusco and Machu Picchu, Huaraz is left untouched, leaving stunning mountain ranges like the Cordillera Huayhuash and the Cordillera Blanca for those who seek real adventure. Its a low-key adventure town that most travelers ignore and that is one of the many reasons why people love it so much in secret.
Take a trip like never before and visit the best spots to find in Peru. Start in Lima (renowned as South America`s culinary capital, boasting world-class eateries and authentic local gems that offer a heady mix of flavors) and take a transfer to Huaraz (known as the Callejon de Huaylas, on the Santa River). Afterwards continue through Trujillo ( known for the nation's traditional dance, marinera and its Cathedral) and Cajamarca (famous for being the meeting place of two worlds, the Incas and the Spaniards) with transfers in between.
