The interesting seahorse-shaped Isabela Island is the largest in the Galapagos archipelago, brimming with wildlife and adventure. The island features active volcanoes, beautiful bays and beaches, flourishing plant life, tropical marine life, and amazing wildlife. There are a variety of Galapagos Penguins that live here, more than anywhere else, making Isabela island the best spot in the archipelago to see them. As a matter of fact, there are also many different species of Giant Tortoise that call Isabela their home. Visitors can learn about them at the amazing Arnaldo Tupiza tortoise breeding center.
