Surfing originally put Montanita on the map and if you`re looking to catch some gnarly waves, we promise that this tiny coastal town won`t disappoint! You could be forgiven for assuming that because of the surfing scene, that Montanita has a chilled vibe but things have gotten a little more rambunctious in recent years. Montanita has a range of possibilities for you to have a great time, perhaps that is why it is recognized as one of the fashionable destinations in South America. As a matter of fact, it is located facing west and angled just a bit to the south, this shoreline provides access to an almost constant series of waves.
Colorful cities, unique wildlife ecosystem and surfing spots in Ecuador!. Start at the Ecuador`s capital city, Quito (enjoy history, colonial sites and cultural heritage); and up next fly to The Galapagos Islands two visit one of its famous islands; Santa Cruz Island (world renowned for the Charles Darwin Station, which is home to giant Galapagos Tortoise). After that, fly back Guayaquil, (known as La Perla del Pacífico, is the largest and the most populous city in Ecuador). And last but not least take private transfer via El Pantanal (wildlife rescue center and Zoo) to Montanita (beach town with golden-sand beaches and some of the best Pacific surfing in South America; while dozens of waterfront bars and clubs rage until the sun comes up – just about every night of the week).
