Morelia is a beautiful city located on the banks of the Rio Grande de Morelia between Mexico City and Guadalajara, Mexico's two largest cities. Anchored by the glowing cathedral, this historic city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 200 historical buildings dotted throughout the charming center. Much of the city was built during the 1700s, yet remains well preserved and absolutely stunning, retaining the character of a distinguished colonial town.
