Lund is a historic city with a rich cultural heritage and full of charm. It`s a green city famed for its reputable university town and lively student life. Lund also offers a wide variety of outdoor leisure activities with 28 natural reserves and many more parks and gardens in the close surroundings, as well as plenty of cultural experiences to be discovered. As a matter of fact, in the cobblestoned old town, the grand, centuries-old Lund Cathedral was built in the Romanesque style. Nearby, the Kulturen open-air museum features replicas of buildings from medieval times to the 20th century. Believe it or not, the Lund University Historical Museum displays archaeological relics from the Stone and Bronze ages, plus a very large and interesting coin collection.
