Lund is a charming, historic city with a rich cultural heritage. It's a green city famed for its university and vibrant student life. Lund offers plenty of cultural experiences and a wide variety of outdoor leisure activities with twenty-eight natural reserves, and many more parks and gardens in the close surroundings. In the cobblestoned old town, the grand, centuries-old Lund Cathedral was built in the Romanesque style. Nearby, the Kulturen open-air museum features replicas of buildings from medieval times to the 20th century. Lund University Historical Museum displays archaeological relics from the Stone and Bronze ages as well as a large and interesting coin collection.
