Bodmin is not short on historical interest. There are a number of fine buildings in the town many of which have rich histories attached to them. With a granite-built townscape that exudes respectability, Bodmin owes its appearance to Cornwalls tin-mining boom in the 19th century. Moreover you can also have fun walking all over the beaches that this town has to offer as well as Animals listings for zoos, safari parks and wildlife parks. Although not on the main tourist trail being located several miles inland Bodmin does occupy a fairly central position in Cornwall.
