Worcester Vacation Packages

With an array of restaurants, cafe’s, independent boutiques, a vibrant programme of events and a splendid riverside setting, Worcester really is a great place to spend a holiday. The city is best known for its magnificent Cathedral but is also famous for the world renowned Worcester Porcelain, the piquant Worcestershire Sauce and the most picturesque cricket ground in the country. Visit the Commandery, the City Art Gallery and admire the half-timbered buildings in Friar Street. These include Greyfriars’ House & Garden and the 500 year old Tudor House. The Battle of Worcester of 1651 was the final battle in the English Civil War, and the future King Charles II barely escaped the city with his life before fleeing for France, to ascend the throne ten years later.
