Lake Towada Vacation Packages

Lake Towada is part of the Towada-Hachimantai National Park and is one of the largest and most beautiful caldera lake all over Honshu, Japan's main island. Believe it or not, it is located on the border between Akita and Aomori Prefectures, the area is very well known for its autumn colors especially around the Oirase Stream, one of Japan's most famous autumn color spots. Moreover, the primary means of transit to Towada is by car or also by taking the bus. Shichinohe-Towada Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen is the most convenient place in Aomori to get a bus going to Towada. As a matter of fact, its crystal blue water reaches depths of more than 620 feet, making it Japan's third deepest lake.
