Eureka presents a charming Old Town district featuring elaborate Victorian houses such as the nearby Carson Mansion. Families love the Sequoia Park Zoo, home to pandas and primates, and features a walk-through aviary. It is sheltered by massive old-growth redwood trees. Don`t forget to enjoy the guided boat cruises aboard the early-1900s Madaket ferry to Humboldt Bay. In the adjacent Old Town, make a beeline for the outstanding Eureka Visitors Center, where you can sample local wines, beers and oysters, ask for tips on nearby galleries, gift shops and restaurants, and book guided tours and adventures.
An amazing Road Trip Adventure along Oregon and California Coast. Start with a nice stay in Portland and Astoria, both beautiful Oregon's cities on the banks of the Columbia River. After that, drive yourself along the coast, making a stop in: Yachats.
