Malibu offers 21-miles of gorgeous coast. It is the city of dreamlike beaches with incredible surf and a sunny Mediterranean climate. The city is well known as a beach colony of movie and television celebrities, whose homes line an unstable escarpment above a sand spit that extends into picturesque Santa Monica Bay. Admire the sandy Zuma Beach, the Malibu Lagoon State Beach, known as Surfrider Beach for its waves, the Spanish Revival style Adamson House, with local history displays in its Malibu Lagoon Museum, Inland, trails weaving through canyons, waterfalls and grasslands in the Santa Monica Mountains. Malibu is also well known for its fantastic surfing waves, iconic fishing pier and great shopping at the Malibu Country Mart.
Venture through these interesting cities in California, exploring its beaches, natural landscapes and nightlife with a Rental Car. Combine San Diego (famous for its miles of white-sand beaches, zoo and leisure activities); then, continue to The Joshua Tree National Park (rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes, named for the region’s Joshua trees); and finally, spend an exciting stay in Los Angeles (offering countless attractions such as sandy beaches, amusement parks and spectacular architecture).
