Rehoboth Beach is one of the most popular of the Delaware Beaches. Nearly 150 years old, it is one of the oldest seaside towns on the East Coast, and is often called `The Nation`s Summer Capital` because so many visitors come from the D.C. area. Rehoboth Beach is known for its mile-long Boardwalk, with Funland amusement park in the middle. Rehoboth Beach is also noted for its LGBTQ community and nightlife scene. Peaceful Dewey Beach sits a half-mile to the south.
